Gold and silver is formed using traditional techniques - hammers for plannishing and repousse, files, pliers and jewellers saw for cutting, bending and shaping, torch and flame for soldering and annealing.

All McLachlan Jewellery is handmade at Hugh's bench using these techniques - each piece is therefore always individual and special.
